one of the best compliment.......

After a very long time today it was a moment that made me think boy the end is near. Yes its just few more months and DDS is over. Today it was orientation for the new incoming class applicants and i was thinking of the day I sat on the other side. All the same questions, same stress. Had a nice interaction session with all the applicants : millions of questions and then a school tour and then lo and behold there comes a student with a big big comment " I have interviewed at 3 different schools and to be very frank, after being here, meeting the faculty, seeing the school and students, I want to do my DDS from here and only here, I want to do my PG and of all I want to be like you and the folks here, a good student and good person of all." I felt so proud and so so happy, somehow somewhere UCSF, my faculty and my class has changed me into a better human being, something I always strive and work towards to be. Its an awesome feeling to be an inspiration to someone..even if its just one. (Ok I guess am being boastful now so I end it here)
